We collect information related to the robot's functionality, such as its operational status, battery status, mowing area, etc., to optimize the robot's performance and efficiency, and to ensure its safe and reliable operation. This information includes but is not limited to:

· Operating Status: Information such as the robot’s operating time, work time, battery level, etc., which is used to monitor the robot’s health and performance.

· Mowing Area: Information about the robot's mowing path and area covered, which is used to optimize mowing performance and avoid overlapping or missed areas.

· Fault Information: Data about the robot's fault codes, types of faults, etc., which helps in diagnosing and resolving issues quickly and providing effective after-sales support.

· Firmware Update Information: Data such as the robot’s firmware version, update logs, etc., to ensure that the robot operates with the latest firmware and receives the latest features and security updates.

(2) App Pairing and Control:

We collect information related to the pairing and control of the app, such as the pairing status between the app and the robot, as well as the user's operation history, to ensure that you can easily control the  robot and monitor its real-time status. This information includes but is not limited to:

· Pairing Status: Information about the pairing status between the app and the robot, ensuring that the app can correctly recognize and control the robot.

· Operation Records: User operation records in the app, such as setting mowing modes, scheduling mowing times, etc., used to analyze user behavior and optimize product features.

· Device Information: Information about the user's mobile device, such as device model and operating system version, which is used to ensure app-device compatibility and provide the best user experience.

(3) Robot Information Collection:

We collect information about the robot, such as its operational status and mowing area, and transmit this information to your app account page through the server so that you can monitor the robot's status in real-time and view mowing results. This information includes but is not limited to:

· Operating Status: Information such as the robot’s running time, work time, battery level, etc., which is used to monitor the robot’s health and performance.

· Mowing Area: The robot’s mowing path and area, used to display mowing performance and help you better understand the robot’s working conditions.

· Map Information: Data about the mowing map and work paths generated by the robot, used to assist in planning mowing areas and avoiding overlap or missed areas.

(4) Problem Communication and Resolution:

We collect information related to problem communication and resolution, such as user feedback, communication records with customer service, etc., to promptly and effectively address any issues you encounter while using the product and provide high-quality after-sales service. This information includes but is not limited to:

· Feedback Information: Information about the issues and suggestions you encounter while using the product, which helps improve our products and services.

· Customer Service Communication Records: Records of communication between you and customer service, used to track the progress of issue resolution and provide effective solutions.

· Operation Records: Records of your operations in the app, used to analyze the root causes of issues and provide targeted solutions.


In order to help you better understand how we collect and use your personal information, we provide further clarification on account registration and information collection. Please note that if you choose not to provide the required personal information, it may affect your ability to fully experience our products and services.


1. Account Registration and Information Collection:

1.1 Account Registration and Information Collection:

· Registration Process: When you register an account on the App, we will guide you through a series of steps, including selecting your country/region and setting up your username and password. This information is used to create your account and ensure that you can successfully log in and use the features of the App.

· Phone Number: We collect your phone number to verify your identity via SMS verification code and ensure the security of your account. Your phone number will only be used for communication purposes and to ensure that you receive important notifications and information in a timely manner.

· Username: You can choose a nickname as your username to identify your account within the App. Please ensure that your username follows the guidelines and avoids using sensitive information.

· Password: You are required to set a strong password to protect your account security. Please ensure your password contains a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, and change it regularly.

· Third-Party Account Login: You may choose to log in to the App using a third-party account (e.g., Apple ID). We will collect relevant application information (such as profile picture, nickname, region, gender, or Apple ID account and name) to provide a more convenient login process, enrich your user profile, and offer personalized services.


1.2 Device Information Collection:

· Android ID: If you log in on a new device, we will collect device information (including Android ID) for security verification. The Android ID is a unique identifier for Android devices used to ensure the security of your account and prevent unauthorized logins.

· Other Device Information: We may also collect information about your mobile device, such as device model, operating system version, etc., to ensure compatibility between the App and your device and provide the best user experience.


1.3 Information Merging:

To better serve you, we may merge your App account information with your LAWNSENSE website registration account information. This allows you to log in to the App using either account and enjoy a seamless user experience.


1.4 Verification Information Sending:

To facilitate password recovery or changes, we may send verification information to your provided phone number/email. Please ensure that the phone number/email you provide is accurate and able to receive SMS/email messages.


1.5 LAWNSENSE ID:

Your App account will be assigned a LAWNSENSE ID, which consists of a random string.  LAWNSENSE ID cannot be used to identify your real identity on its own; however, authorized personnel within the company may cross-check it with the user database to identify individual users. We will ensure the security of the LAWNSENSE ID and use it only for internal management and service provision purposes.

Please note that, without your written consent, we will not use the collected information for other purposes.


2. App Account Control and Data Collection:

In order to provide a more comprehensive and secure user experience, we collect and use your personal information to ensure you can effectively control the home robot via your App account and gather relevant data to optimize product performance and user experience. The following details outline how we collect and use your personal information:

· Network Configuration Process: When you use the App account to control the home robot via a mobile device, you need to complete the network configuration, i.e., connect the mobile device, App account, and home robot to the same Wi-Fi network. This process may involve the use of Cookies to record the network configuration history for future reference.

· Data Connection: Once the network configuration is complete, we will continue to collect data to ensure that there is a data connection between the App’s commands and the home robot’s operational status. This helps us better understand your usage habits and provide more personalized services.

· Operation Behavior and Feature Logs: When using the App to control the robot, we will record your operation behaviors and related feature logs. For example, scheduling the mowing function will require device time and time zone information to ensure that the robot’s mowing schedule is executed accurately.

· Robot Operation and Location Status: In order to display the home robot’s operation and location status on the App account page, we collect data from the robot and transmit it to the App via the server. While this information is mostly non-personally identifiable, we ensure its security and privacy.


Device Permissions:

· Network Configuration and Connection Functions: We require the following device permissions to support network configuration and connection:

   Mobile data, Wi-Fi information, local network, location, Bluetooth. These permissions help us connect your mobile device, App account, and home robot, and provide a smoother user experience.

· App Logs and Updates Storage: We need storage permission to store App logs and updates to facilitate troubleshooting and function optimization.

· Account Security: We collect device information to ensure the security of your account and prevent unauthorized access.

· Message Push Notifications: We require notification permission to send you message push  notifications, so you can receive timely updates about the robot’s operational status and important information.

· QR Code Network Configuration: We need access to your album and camera to support the QR  code network configuration feature, making it easier for you to configure and connect the home robot.

· Device Sharing Function: Some home robots support a “Device Sharing” function, allowing control to be shared with other App accounts. If you are the recipient of a shared device, the robot will be considered your own home robot, and this privacy policy will still apply. You can manage the shared device or disable the sharing permission within the App to ensure the security of your personal information and privacy.

Please note, we commit that, without your written consent, we will not use the collected information for any other purposes.


3. Robot Operation and Data Collection:

When you use the App to control the home robot, we may collect data related to the robot's operational status and location. This data helps us ensure the robot’s operational efficiency and performance, as well as accurately display the robot’s operational status within the App.


Specifically, we may collect the following types of data:

Non-Personal Identifiable Information: This includes App name, device model, unique identifiers (including Android ID), MAC address, operating system version, Wi-Fi network information, IP address, location information, etc. We will collect any PIN code you enter on your device. While this data is typically non-personally identifiable, it helps us better understand the robot's operating status and offer more personalized services.


Operational Data: We may collect logs, status data, behavioral data, fault data, and firmware upgrade information from the robot. This data helps us quickly identify and address issues, providing more reliable services.

Mowing Maps and Work Paths: To adapt to the working environment and no-go zones, the robot generates mowing maps and work paths, which are displayed in the App via the server. You can mark areas and no-go zones in the App, and these will be transmitted to the robot for execution.

Specific Model Functions: Certain models of home robots are equipped with sensors for obstacle avoidance and recognition of obstacles in the mowing environment. If the robot cannot process this  data locally, related radar data is transmitted to the server for analysis and then sent back to the robot. Radar data is used to create 3D maps. Human detection features will delete any human shape data locally, but please note that private spaces may still collect personal information.

Please note that when the robot is restored to factory settings, all user information, Wi-Fi data, and PIN codes will be deleted. This helps ensure the security of your personal information and privacy.


4. User Support Services:

We place great importance on providing user support and offer multiple channels to help resolve any issues you may encounter while using our products. Below is how we may collect and use your personal information when providing user support services:

Search Record Storage: To better understand your needs and provide more personalized assistance, we may store your search records. These records help us with follow-up queries and provide more accurate support.

Customer Service and Direct Communication: When you use the App's customer service function or directly communicate with customer service, we may record the following information:

· Communication Content: To track issue resolution progress and provide feedback, we will record your communications with us.

· Your Requests and Feedback: Your feedback and requests are critical for us to improve our products and services. We will carefully record and analyze this information to better meet your needs.

· Your Name and Contact Information: To contact you promptly and resolve your issues, we will   record your name and contact information. We ensure the confidentiality of this information and use it solely for support purposes.

· Necessary Information for Service: In certain cases, we may need to collect additional necessary information to provide support. We will inform you of the purpose of this information and collect and use it only with your consent.

· Photos and Screenshots: If needed, you can take photos or screenshots related to the problem and send them to customer service via email. These photos and screenshots will help us better understand the issue and provide more effective solutions.

( Ⅱ )  Extended Business Functions That Require the Collection and Use of Your Personal Information

In order to provide more comprehensive services, support product innovation and feature optimization, as well as personalized service recommendations, we may collect and use the following personal information. Please note that refusing to provide this information will not affect your ability to use basic business functions.


1. Built-in Shopping Function in the App:

1.1 Payment Services and Information Sharing

When you use the built-in shopping function in the App, you will have the opportunity to enjoy convenient payment services. Once you successfully place an order, you can choose either the associated payment service provider of LAWNSENSE or a third-party payment institution trusted by us to complete the payment. Please note that while the payment function itself will not actively collect your personal information, we may need to share the following information with the payment institution in order to ensure the security and smooth completion of the transaction:

· Order number and transaction amount information;

· Bank card number, expiration date, and other necessary bank card details (including debit and credit cards) for payment;

· Account balance information related to wallet functionality.

If you choose a payment service provided by another financial institution, we will also, as necessary, share your bank card number, expiration date, and other required payment details with that financial institution.

Additionally, if you choose to have someone else pay for you, you will need to provide the payer’s account information, payment QR code, and phone number. We understand the sensitivity of this  information and will strictly adhere to the privacy policy to protect your data security.

In order to track and confirm your payment progress and status, and to provide after-sales service and dispute resolution, you agree that we may collect payment-related information from the transaction party or financial institution you select. You can view or manage the linked bank cards and third-party payment information in your LAWNSENSE platform account and have the right to request a change of the linked bank account.


1.2 Product and Service Delivery and Information Usage

When you choose cash on delivery, online payment, or opt to receive a product, LAWNSENSE’s affiliates, suppliers, partner merchants, or third-party delivery companies will be responsible for completing the order delivery. You agree and acknowledge that, in order to ensure that your product is delivered safely and accurately, LAWNSENSE’s affiliates, suppliers, partner merchants, or delivery companies will use your order information during these stages.

If you refuse to provide or disagree to share the necessary information, we may be unable to provide you with complete delivery services. To provide after-sales and dispute resolution services, we need to collect information related to delivery progress. You agree that we may obtain this information from the logistics service provider.

If you are ordering products or services for someone else, you will need to provide the actual purchaser's personal information. Please ensure that you have obtained explicit authorization and consent from the actual purchaser before providing this information.


1.3 Browsing, Searching, and Order Processing

When you browse, search, or inquire in the App’s shopping section, we will collect your browsing and communication records to better understand your purchasing needs and improve our service quality.

When processing your order, we will collect order details, payment information, delivery address, and contact information. This information will be used to process transactions, send order notifications, and provide invoices when necessary.

Our customer support services will use the collected information to handle after-sales reviews, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring a satisfactory shopping experience for you.


2. User Community and Information Release Functions and Personal Information Management

2.1 Information Monitoring and Legal Obligations

When using the user community and information release features provided by this app, we will, within the scope permitted by law, record and monitor the content you post. This is to fulfill our legal regulatory obligations, ensure a healthy and harmonious community environment, and prevent and address any potential illegal or improper activities. During this process, we may collect personal information contained in the content you post and will protect it strictly according to this Privacy Policy and relevant laws and regulations


2.2 Compliance with Community Rules and Notifications

We place great importance on compliance with community rules to maintain a good online communication environment. If you violate the community rules, we reserve the right to take necessary actions and may notify you via your app account, registered email, or phone number,  informing you of the nature of the violation, the measures taken, and the potential consequences.

Please understand that these measures are for the protection of all users' rights within the community and to comply with national laws and regulations. We commit to contacting you only when necessary and ensuring that your contact information is used solely for these notifications.

In the event of such incidents, we will notify you promptly, as required by applicable laws and regulations, with the following information:  the basic facts ofthe security incident, potential impacts, the measures we have taken to address it, preventive actions and recommendations for you, and any remedial actions we will provide.

Notification methods may include, but are not limited to, email, letter, phone, or push notifications. If we are unable to notify you individually, we will take reasonable and effective public notification methods. We will also report the incident and its handling status to the relevant regulatory authorities in a timely manner, in accordance with their guidelines.


4. Deletion of Personal Information and Termination of Services

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy and within the time limits permitted by laws and regulations. After the retention period has expired, we will promptly delete or anonymize your personal information. If we cease to provide services or operate, we will stop collecting related personal information and notify you as per the 《LAWNSENSE User Agreement》, and we will delete or anonymize any personal information we hold. We will comply with any requests you make regarding the deletion of your personal information, in accordance with applicable laws. However, as required by law, we may need to retain certain information (such as network logs, transaction records, etc.), or retain information due to other legal relationships with you. We will also retain your consent records regarding the collection and use of personal information to fulfill legal obligations and address potential litigation.

We only share your personal information in the following circumstances:

To efficiently utilize group resources, coordinate information technology processing, and diversify products, some of your personal information may be accessed and used by our affiliated companies. To achieve the business functions outlined in this policy and collect and use personal information, we may rely on third-party technical support (e.g., technical databases, App, and home robot infrastructure development) and tools. Certain third-party services may involve processing personal information you have provided, as agreed in this policy (e.g., using third-party servers to store App and home robot data and databases). Please note that these third parties may have their own privacy policies or personal information protection policies, and may independently collect and use your information. These situations are not governed by this policy, and we bear no responsibility for them. For further details, please refer to the latest privacy policies published by these third parties or contact them directly. If you find that third-party websites or applications pose a risk, we recommend stopping relevant activities to protect your rights.


(Ⅰ) Sharing

We promise that when entrusting third parties with processing your personal information, we will adhere to the following principles:

1.  Authorized Scope: Ensure that the analysis and processing by third parties do not exceed the scope of consent you have granted, unless required by law.

2.  Data Security Assessment: Conduct a pre-assessment of the data security capabilities of third-party processors to ensure they meet the data security requirements of applicable laws and regulations.

3.  Contractual Obligations: Clearly define the third party's responsibilities and obligations through contracts, requiring them to comply with applicable laws and privacy protection standards that are no  less stringent than ours.

4.  Record Keeping: Accurately record and retain information about the entrustment of personal information processing to ensure your information is secure, and maintain effective access and control over the entrusted personal information.

5.  Information Deletion: When the entrustment relationship ends or your personal information needs to be deleted or anonymized as per this policy, we will ensure that the third party deletes the relevant information and destroys all copies of the data.


Joint Processing of Personal Information

We and the joint controllers will establish the following requirements through a contract:

1.  Security Management: Joint controllers must meet the personal information security management and security incident handling requirements, with standards not lower than the applicable legal provisions.

2.  Usage Purpose: Joint controllers can only use your personal information for the purposes  specified in this policy after obtaining it, and must always cooperate with you in exercising your personal information rights.

3.  Information Deletion: After achieving the relevant purposes, joint controllers must delete your personal information, and we will supervise this process.


Other Types of Third-Party Access

For other types of third-party access, we will:

1.  Contractual Agreement: Clearly define the personal information security responsibilities and measures of third-party accessors through contracts to ensure they comply with personal information protection requirements.

2.  Record Retention: Properly maintain relevant contracts and management records to supervise third parties and strengthen personal information security management.


(Ⅱ) Transfer

Transfer refers to a situation in which we no longer control your personal information, and the transferee obtains control. In principle, we will not transfer your personal information to any third party. In unavoidable circumstances, if we need to transfer your personal information, we will adhere to the following principles:

1.  Legal Compliance: Transfer personal information only when required by applicable laws, and we will notify you in advance of the purpose of the transfer, the personal information involved, and relevant information about the transferee.

2.  Business Changes: In the course of business development, such as mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, etc., we may transfer your personal information. In such cases, we will notify you of the  situation as per the 《LAWNSENSE User Agreement》.

3.  Change of Information Controller: If the controller of personal information changes or personal information is shared or transferred, we will inform you of these changes and provide possible options regarding your personal information.

4.  Protection Commitment: We will ensure that the new personal information holder continues to comply with this policy's terms through contracts, or require them to obtain your explicit consent and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and no less than the standards of this policy.


Transparency in the Transfer Process

When transferring personal information, we will maintain the same commitments as when sharing personal information, including:

· Notifying you of the name, contact details, purpose, content, and legal responsibilities of the transferor.

· Ensuring that the transfer process complies with applicable laws and protects your personal information from misuse.

We commit to respecting your privacy rights and the applicable laws and regulations throughout the personal information transfer process.


(Ⅲ) Disclosure

We will only disclose your personal information under the following circumstances, and after taking security measures that meet industry standards:

1. Disclosing the relevant personal information based on your active choice and other separately agreed scope;

2. If required by laws, regulations, or mandatory administrative or judicial requests, we may disclose your personal information in accordance with the type and manner of disclosure required. When we receive such requests, we will require the necessary legal documents to be presented, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


(Ⅳ) Circumstances under Applicable Laws and Regulations ,In the following circumstances, we may need to share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information without seeking your authorization or consent:

1.  Legal Obligation: We will provide personal information as required by law when we are legally obligated to do so.

2.  National Security and Defense Security: To maintain national security and defense security, we may need to process your personal information.

3.  Public Safety and Public Health: In situations involving public safety, public health, or major public interests, we may need to use your personal information.

4.  Judicial Procedures: To support criminal investigations, prosecution, trial, and enforcement of judgments, we may need to provide your personal information.

Ⅴ. How to Manage Your Personal Information


1.Accessing and Correcting Personal Information:

(1) Managing Personal Information in the App:

You can log into your account within the App and, through the "Settings" interface, view and modify your personal profile, manage shipping addresses, linked third-party accounts, or adjust privacy and security settings. Due to security and identity verification requirements or legal and regulatory constraints, some initial registration information may not be editable. If you need assistance accessing or correcting your personal information, please refer to the contact information provided in Article 8 of this policy. We are committed to improving the user interface to make it easier for you to manage your personal information, so please stay tuned for updates to the App.

(2) Robot Operation and Data Management:

During the operation of your home robot, due to technical limitations, not all of the data collected by the robot can be processed and stored on the device itself. Some of this data needs to be transmitted to our servers for processing or further transmitted to the App for display, which may involve the collection of data (including personal information).

When your home robot operates based on your commands, in order to troubleshoot any issues or faults in real-time, we will collect operational logs, status data, and behavior data from the robot (including  records of enabling and disabling various functions and statuses), as well as information about faults and firmware updates. To ensure your home robot operates within the specific work environment and safety zones you’ve set, maps will be transmitted through our servers to your App account page for intuitive display, allowing you to categorize the marked areas in the App.

2. Rejecting Marketing Messages and Personalized Content:

If you do not wish to receive marketing emails, you can click the "Unsubscribe" link in the email. In  the App, you can disable marketing messages and personalized content push notifications by going to "My - Settings - Message Settings/Recommendation Settings." After turning this off, the relevance of advertisements will decrease, but their frequency will remain unchanged. If you choose to reject receiving App notifications or marketing messages, we will cease sending these communications. Please note that notifications related to account security, order confirmations, and service updates cannot be unsubscribed.

3. Deleting Personal Information:

In certain circumstances, you can delete your personal information by deactivating your account. These circumstances include, but are not limited to: violations of laws or regulations, breaches of agreements, processing personal information without consent, withdrawal of consent, service termination, achievement of purpose, or information no longer necessary, or other situations prescribed by law.

4. Modifying the Scope of Authorization or Withdrawing Consent:

You can modify the scope of authorization or withdraw your consent by deleting personal information, limiting App permissions, or through the App settings. Deactivating your account will withdraw all authorizations. Please note that some services require necessary personal information, and withdrawing consent may affect the provision of these services.

5. Deactivating the App Account:

You can apply to deactivate your account through the contact details provided in Article 8 or by navigating to "App Settings - Account and Security - Deactivate Account." Once the account is deactivated, associated website accounts will also be deactivated, and third-party accounts will be unlinked. We will delete or anonymize your personal information, as detailed in Article 3 of this policy.

6. Responding to Requests:

For security purposes, we may need to verify your identity. Once the verification is completed, we will process your request within 15 working days. In special circumstances, this may take up to 30 days. We will notify third parties who have received your information to respond to your request as well.

7. Situations Where Requests Cannot Be Fulfilled:

We may not be able to fulfill your request in the following situations: performing legal obligations, national security, public safety, major public interest, criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials, protecting life and property rights, preventing harm to legitimate interests, involving trade secrets, or other circumstances prescribed by laws and regulations.



VI. Protection of Personal Information for Minors


We place great importance on and strictly adhere to the protection of personal information for minors. We commit that, unless required by law or with explicit consent from a guardian, we will not intentionally collect personal information from minors.
